those crazy comments from those on the site are total hogwash --- like pulling a color out of the rug is a good idea???
If it were me, I would go with a two tone approach to your problem. Leave it to the colors of the spring (and little girl favorite alike) and paint the bottom black and the top and ceiling red. That should have Julia sleeping well in no time (or potentially torturing her stuffed animals --- it could go either way really).
